Macrobid is a good product used for bladder infections. It should be taken after meals. It is not an allergic reaction but a side effect. Try it as suggested if you still have a problem let your MD know.

It is not an allergic reaction but it is an adverse side effect. This can occur though rarely with Macrobid . Allergic reactions usually cause swelling of the tongue, throat, rashes, hives. though not an allergic reaction which can be life threatening, it is uncomfortable and likely you should try another antibiotics that would work in your condition. https://www.rxlist.com/macrobid-drug.htm
