My mom who is around 40 had 9.7 hb1ac now around 9 months latter she has around 6.7.she went 1 doctor he said to her to use insulin whereas when she went to another doctor he said no need to take insulin just take tabs.which doc should she listen to?

She should stick with 1 doc as both might have been right as for Hb A1c of 9.7 insulin is generally needed along with diet and weight loss, while for 6.7 oral meds after and continuing to lose weight and with strict diet/exercise may suffice. She clearly has diabetes and establishing with a diabetes specialist becomes critical to prevent typical long term complications.

Both pieces of advice could be right depending on how much they know about your Mom. Why is she seeing two different Drs would be my question and which one knows her the best.
