Xerosis vs eczema...: Dry skin, allergies to detergent, or other irritants are possibilities. Try using a skin cream without alcohol in it immediately after showering/ washing. If this does not work try a hypoallergenic detergent.... If that fails see your doc again or go to a dermatologist.
