Hives: This could be temperature dependent or related to pressure. If pressure you will tolerate bath. If heat related preloading with antihistamines will relieve symptoms.

Itch after shower?: How long do you stay in the shower? How hot is the temp? If you stay too long or water too hot, after you dry self with towel, your skin gets wet again with sweat due to the temp on the skin that is not cooled down enough, the skin gets drier and drier.(the skin sweats profusely while under hot shower). If not from that, allergy to the new soap? Or allergy to old soap?Or .. Not rinse soap off?
