I have been diagnosed with a peri neural cyst 1.4 cm on the right side of the s2 vertebrae.will it lead to degenerative problems in the future.should i be going towards a surgery ?

Perineural cyst (Tarlov cyst) is often detected by MRI incidentally. Leave it alone if you are asymptomatic. By NIH website: microsurgical removal of the cyst may be an option in select individuals who do not respond to conservative treatments and who continue to experience pain or progressive neurological damage. See a spine surgeon if you have chronic pain or neurologic issues.
