I took a suppository as i have been having constipation and all ive been passing is mucus and now it has blood in it. been told i might have ibs, should i be concerned or is it just from the suppository? its worrying me?

Bleeding is not commonly seen in IBS, time to get your treating doc involved. While a hemorrhoidal bleed in the presence of severe constipation appears most likely, other conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease cannot be ruled out and work up may be needed.
