I pass alot of mucus with stools. the doctor diagnosed me with ibs. the mucus comes more when i am constipated. the mucus is in more quantity. is mucus in stools normal for ibs patient?

Mucus in stools of an IBS patient can definitely occur. IBS with constipation is more common in females whereas diarrhea tends to be more common in males with IBS. The mucus is not considered to be a serious problem.
