The knuckle of my index finger hurts when i bend it (burning/pulling feeling). comes and goes. no redness or swelling. what is it/how to heal?

Varies: There are multiple potential causes and I would not hesitate to be seen for an accurate diagnosis. Among the more common causes is a synovitis of the lining of the joint capsule if that joint. If not contraindicated, trying an NSAIDs when it is symptomatic may be of some benefit.
