It all depends on your activity body size and climate. A normal person requires 6-8 glasses of liquids. If you are dehydrated you will be thirsty and pee more if you drink too much, So adjust your intake to what I said and not to any fixed amount

If you are not sweating too much and you have no medical problem, 64 oz of fluid (water + other drinks) is more than enough.
