After endoscopy have mild chronic gastritis. taking meds and changed diet. much better. of course cheap on diet sometimes. couple of nights woke up with stomach pain and upset. is this gastritis also? after upset pain goes away shortly and back to sl?

You don't mention how long you've been on dietary measur & medications for the chronic gastritis or whether h pylori was present. I think you should notify your gastroenterologist, who knows your endoscopic findings, of these nocturnal bouts of pain to determine whether they are part of the natural history of your mild chronic gastritis or whether another gasroscopy or other testing are advisable
