Would expect that the gastritis would start to remit by this point, but as we get older, it takes longer to fully heal, and if you have a co-morbidity such as diabetes, the process would be even more prolonged. It is possible that your medications may need adjustment or revision. Talk to your gastroenterologist and make a joint decision.

My upper endoscopy of stomach showed reactive gastritis on biopsy. Next biopsy 8 months later showed slight linear erosion but biopsy came back 'within normal limits'. What does this mean? Has the reactive gastritis resolved?
