The general term "stomach cramps" can mean chest pain in the general abdominal area, caused by "costochondritis" or a rib separation from the sternum. "Gastritis" found on endoscopy can also produce "stomach cramps" with "deep breaths", as the inflamed stomach is displaced somewhat by diaphragm movement. Consult your primary care physician for guidance.

Stomach cramps are a fairly common symptom, but are not usually caused by gastritis. To sort this out, you should return to your gastroenterologist or your primary care doctor. A detailed history and physical exam may be necessary. Good luck.
