I have a weird issue that happens fairly rarely sometimes i feel something in my right jaw move to the bottom of my jaw my jaw locks up i can't close and it hurts its a sharp pain its goes in about 10 seconds the closest thing i've found is tmj?

It is possible that you have a displaced disc or other pathology in your right Temporomandibular Joint. You may be referred to an Oral Surgeon, Oral Pathologist, Orthodontist, or a Dento-facial pain specialist.

This may be a TMD problem and needs a dentist trained in treating TMD for a proper exam and diagnosis. Do you have a history of trauma? Do you grind your teeth?
