Movement at the tempor0-mandibular joint (TMJ) could produce a "click", but "fluid movement" around "right ear" could represent an ear infection or just accumulation of "ear wax', acting like a "sound conductor" (liquids conduct sound in an exaggerated way from that conducted by air). See an ENT physician if symptoms progress to pain.

1. Mom is always right 2. Actually on description it appears that what you describe is related to your TMJ joint 3. Do see your pediatrician and/or dentist to confirm and treat if needed.

Your mom's probably right (as usual). And if it click's when you move your jaw forward, don't push your jaw forward. The click is the disc in your jaw joint either clicking out of, or back into, position. Please rest your jaw joints, soft diet, and see your Dentist.
