Evaluation: Self-diagnosis can be at best wrong, at worst dangerous. Jaw shift may be due to anatomical jaw joint dysfunction, neuromuscular imbalance, skeletal imbalance or malformation, neoplasm, or many other possible causes. You need to be examined and imaged by a Dentist fluent in treating dysfunctional joints. Your intriguing problem needs more investigation, and not over the Internet.

Asymptomatic TMJ: is not a concern. There is no need for treatment of asymptomatic TMJ even with anatomic abnormalities and deviations.
