I have about 8 swollen lymph nodes for a year and a half. doctors say it's nothing to worry about, they keep going up and down. i've had 3 ultrasouns, i had one node fna and it was fine. should i push to have others tested or even any other tests?

The lymph node location is very important. If they are on your neck or above and the mentioned tests were not revealing, they are likely reactive lymph nodes so your doctor's reassurance is probably correct.

The nodes are unlikely to be serious. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
