A little: Niacin may increase hdl--the good cholesterol doubt if any of the meds will be of much help for depression.

Good : Niacin has clearly been proven to help with high cholesterol. Your current dose of 1000 mg is a good one, and will likely increase your HDL ("good" cholesterol) and mildly decrease your LDL ("bad" cholesterol). Though i think the b-vitamins are helpful in aiding the body to combat stress, there is more to depression than simply handling stress, so i can't say you accrue the same benefit here.
