Talk to your MD: If your psychologist thinks you should be on any medication for your depression, ask her to refer you to a psychiatrist or your pcp who will be able to evaluate you and decide what type of medication will be needed. I am unaware of b vitamins being indicated for anxiety and depression. Good luck.

B vitamins: B complex vitamins help replenish nutritional changes that may happen when you're stressed & anxious (such as loss of b vitamins). But by itself this will not treat your anxiety or depression. You will still need ongoing psychotherapy -- and possibly medications -- for that. Hopefully you're also eating plenty of healthy vegetables, fruits, whole grains, & lean proteins -- & avoiding alcohol.
