I have read some studies of patients developing severe, life threatening thrombocytopenia after receiving a covid vaccine. i've had thrombocytopenia throughout my life. am i more susceptible to severe drop in platelets after the vaccine?

I would go to pubmed and enter in thrombocytopenia and COVID-19 and you can see the worlds literature on your question. Then discuss with your Dr. if you have been followed by a hematologist for the thrombocytopenia check with them.
