If you have blood in the urine +/- left flank pain as the reason for this CT scan, you probably have a renal mass. You need to see a urologist as soon as possible if you have not seen one yet.

Recently had a abdominal CT scan done and when i got my results back i noticed where it gives a description of my kidneys it states symmetric renal enhancement. What does this mean? It does not state if its bilateral or unilateral?
