If one is Lactose intolerant, then only lactose free dairy should be used. Artificial sweeteners, beans, excessive fibers, and any nonabsorbable carbohydrate can give more gas. Easily absorbable cause less gas which are: potatoes, lettuce, banana, rice, citreous fruits, yoghurt with live culture. Simethicone OTC can help. If it is associated with other symptoms, see your doctor. Hope it helps.
