A member asked:

I got methotrexate in my thumb. while knocking bubbles out of needle it slipped out of the vial and stabbed my thumb. should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: The amount that entered is probably minuscule, however, you need to let your office manager know. You also need to let risk management know. It is probably not unreasonable to check a cbc. Hope this helps.
