See ped cardiologist: Based on your description of the ultrasound alone, it is difficult to know exactly what may be wrong with your infant's heart. I would suggest that you get a referral to a pediatric cardiologist who specializes in fetal heart imaging. That physician should be able to tell you what is going on. For example, it is possible that the pericardium, a sac that encases the heart, is inflamed.
