Complete the course of PCN, but if you have difficulty breathing, fever or worsening cough, please see urgent care or your PCP. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, blood in sputum and green nasal discharge with fever. Observe the site on your tongue for signs of infection including increased redness, swelling and drainage. While on the antibiotic, no fever should be observed after 48 hours.
