The symptoms you have experienced are not typical for RLS, more of peripheral neuropathy. Do you have any other underlying medical condition?

See a neurologist, as you could very well possess a peripheral neuropathy, which can, on occasion be a co-morbidity with RLS. An EMG/NCS should reveal what is occurring. Dopamine agonists may assist the RLS problems, but you need to uncover the full spectrum causing your symptoms.
