Eye or Sinus: Does your eye look irritated or red, especially underneath the upper eyelid? If so, you may have a type of inflammatory surface reaction called superior limbic keratitis. If the eye looks normal, then the problem may be an inflamed eye muscle (orbital myositis), or sinus infection (there are sinuses on all sides of the eye socket except the outer side, and sinus pain can feel like eye pain)
