A member asked:

I just had labs drawn 7/23/2021. my iron was 70, hemoglobin 13, and my ferritin was 5. i cannot tolerate oral iron. i do not currently have periods. should i set up an appointment with a hematologist? would i be a candidate for iron infusions?

Your are not iron deficient enough to require intravenous iron. If you can not tolerate oral iron you could change your diet to have more iron rich foods.
