My husband has lost the ability to speak on several occasions but they only last for 1 minute to 3 minutes than back to normal. he said he knows what he wants to say but can't form the words?

Losing the ability to speak indicates that the specific part of your brain responsible for this function is somehow not functioning correctly. This may be due to lack of blood flow (Transient Ischemic Attack) or abnormal electrical activity (Seizure). Your husband should see a DR ASAP for a full assessment.

You describe TIA’s, reversible blood flow disruption and if not handled could cause massive stroke. Relatively urgent for neurologist to get involved
