I had a bump on my penis and pus came out. its been a few days and it scabbed over but while washing the scab came off and now its a flat light colored spot. im worried about syphilis but its not wet like the pictures on the web its dry. help?

Syphilis doesn't behave like this, and other STDs also are unlikely based on these symptoms. Probably it was a pimple or small infected cyst. However, if you are sexually active and possibly at risk for STDs, of course you should see a doctor or clinic and have standard STD testing. Good luck.

If you had sexual intercourse with a person who you found out they have been infected or possibly infected at the time checking in with your physician for STD testing is strongly recommended. Comparing your wound with pictures from Internet is not going to be a reliable way of ruling out STD’s such as syphilis in a clinical context suggesting such a disease.
