Doc diagnosed me with epydidimitis. however test revealed negative for chlamydia and gonorreah. symptoms incl testicular pain. irritated tip of penis and stinging while peeing. what could have caused epydidimitis? 3 weeks later same symptoms back???

Two possibilities: 1- the antibiotic course is not long enough or the bacteria partly resist the antibiotic. 2- epydidimitis is not caused by bacteria in your case.

Acute epididymitis causes a lot of swelling and pain. Chronic one is difficult to diagnose. Pl get a urinalysis. You might not have epididymitis and need to be seen by a Urologist. In the meantime drink plenty of water and wear a scrotal support
