Based on the characteristics of the pain, a musculoskeletal (specifically ligaments and meniscal, aside from muscular) origin appears more likely than a clot. An Ortho exam may help in better delineating possibilities.

A Torn Meniscus does not show up on plain X-rays. An MRI would be the best imaging study. However, for the time being, I suggest using crutches or a cane until your delivery is completed. Once your pregnancy is over, I suggest you pursue this problem with a local orthopaedic surgeon. If still symptomatic, an MRI will probably be considered the next step.
