Bertolotti’s syndrome is an uncommon cause of low back pain, particularly focused along the waist line slightly off to the side. Often confused with sacroiliitis, this diagnosis affects less than 10% of the population and because of this it often goes undiagnosed. Other causes of Low back pain include: muscle strain, disc compression, kidney stone, nerve impingement, pyelonephritis, osteoarthritis
