Retinal detachments following trauma are usually the result of disruption and collapse of the vitreous gel. If this has not happened in 7 months, it is fairly unlikely to. However, trauma is a life-long risk factor for retinal detachments and should be evaluated regularly and immediately if symptoms worsen.

Not clear from your report if a partial vitreous detachment did occur, but appears that retinal detachment did not occur. It appears you are not destined to have ocular issues at this point.
