Ophthalmology question. 3 weeks ago i received trauma to my eye. the day after the accident the ophthalmologist detected no damage to the retina. i missed my follow up appointment. if the retina was undamaged after the accident is it likely still ok?

Possibly, however : The ophthalmologist asked for a follow-up for a good reason, some subtle changes won't give you symptoms for now, e.g. measuring the eye pressure is one of several parameters to be evaluated, don't miss the follow-up appointment, wish you wellness
