Yes: Vitreous separation and vitreous hemorrhage cause vitreous floaters in your vision. This can also result in hazy vision. The laser procedure helps to prevent a tear from occurring at the edge of the lattice degeneration and progressing to a retinal detachment; however it does not resolve the vitreous floaters. The vitreous are unaffected by the laser.

Laser to prevent RD: Floaters occur with aging of the vitreous and sometimes in other conditions. Retinal laser is not meant to affect the clear vitreous. Nor does it have any known effects on vitreous. Retinal laser barrage or barricade to prevent rd is unlike yag laser which is used on clear tissue like vitreous. Dealing with the floaters can be a nuisance but is not harmful. Floaters can indicate new retinal breaks.
