Yes but . . .: Most doctors do not carry prescription medication in their offices. You would ordinarily take his prescription to the pharmacy to get it filled. So you would have to explain the circumstance in which your doctor would carry your medicine in his office and not give it to you at the time he feels you need it out of that supply.
