Call back: An abnormal pap smear can range from inocucuous changes to nonspectific atypical change to low grade dysplasias and cytologic change s suggestive of HPV to frank malignancy. Many abnormalities resovle on their own but it would be improtant to find out whether the ones yoiu have are pre-maligant or not. Call back the doctor just in case something slipped by him or her.
