Triggering er visit. no privacy, ^staff gossipping, judging patients. why is it so easy to hear this in an er? ptsd triggered, other patients upset2!

Emergency Rooms: Emergency rooms are often laid out for maximal use of space, rather than having many rooms where you can close the door. There may be curtains around each bed to give the illusion of privacy (but talking can be heard). Most er staff do not mean to be mean, but they're human above all else. When overworked & stressed, they may say things that release their own stress but cause stress to others.
