Could be: There is a possibility of secondaries from thyroid carcionima to to deposited in the lungs. But will have to check with a physician to see if the symptoms match and also need to possibly biopsy the nodes and the nodule.

No: This association would be very uncommon. They are likely unrelated. Your doctor should be able to advise you on the risk of cancer of these two nodules.
