I was treated with cipro for pyelonephritis & my symptoms improved. however, i am still having blood in my urine and bladder heaviness worse when walking/sitting up. urine negative, ultrasound normal. is it worth having a ct w contrast?

US is not sensitive enough for pelvic organs. Pyelonephritis does cause kidney dysfunction so I suggest you should wait for at least 4-6 weeks before receiving CT with IV contrast.
