Testing for blood glucose at home is typically done at 1-2 hours after beginning to eat. Blood glucose at this time frame is considered normal if it is below 180 mg/dl. Fasting blood glucose is done first thing in the morning and should be 99 mg/dl or lower. Random testing outside of these parameters is not helpful. If you are concerned about diabetes, ask your Dr to do a 1 hr/3 hr glucose test.

This could be a normal reading within 2 hours after the calories in the cream. After 4 or5 hours a reading between 70&90 would be normal.
