Im a 16 year old female and around 24 hours ago i discovered a red and hard lump near my perineum like right beside it. the pain is throbbing and getting worse with time. it hurts even more to the touch and when i sit. i am scared to visit a doctor?

Scared ? Why ? Would you avoid treatment for a bad appendix? If you worry this may be sex related you need to move quickly. Some of the infections can result in sterility if not treated on time. It is likely just a boil/abscess from simple germs that needs to be drained. Warm heat may give you comfort temporarily, but these usually get worse if they hurt that much. Get moving & see a doc.

You need to visit a doctor. Why are you afraid? What you described could be a Bartholin abscess and may need to be drained. Waiting may make matters worse. Talk to your parents or another trusted relative to take you to a doctor. Wish you good health!
