Perianal abscess: This is most likely a perianal abscess. You can think of it sort of like a pimple. It's basically a gland that gets clogged and then infected with bacteria. Don't worry, it usually doesn't have anything to do with hygeine. Try sitting in a warm bath with epsom salts to help soften up the area. If it gets worse, sometimes it needs to be surgically drained.
