Would a uterine fibroid (3cm) cause my groin lymph node to swell? an abdominal ultrasound and blood work have all returned normal, so im unsure of the next steps i should take?

No, a fibroid should not cause a lymph node to swell. Check with your doctor to be tested for a pelvic infection and to discuss further; if the node does not resolve within a few weeks, it needs to be biopsied.

Agree with Dr. Eaton. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
