Indirectly: If the fibroid is causing heavy blood loss and therefore iron deficiency anemia, that is associated with incr plt.

Not directly.: However, fibroids are often associated with heavy periods, and if that is the case, could result in iron deficiency. Bleeding and iron deficiency can cause an elevated platelet count. There is a rare syndrome where fibroids cause a high red blood cell count, but I have not heard of this happening with platelets.
