Ct scan results. what does this mean? 5.4 cm mass in central pelvis between uterus and bladder, consider exophytic fibroid. also, mildly lobulated serosal surface suggestive of fibroids. i have been having lower abdominal pain?

Pelvic pain/mass: Symptoms of pelvic pain with a mass seen on CT should be evaluated by a gyn oncologist at age 65. Although "fibroid tumors" can still exist long after average age of menopause is reached (age 54), onset of pelvic pain and the abnormal CT. Get referral to the Univ. of Wisc. School of Medicine to be secure in the diagnosis.

My pelvic US showed a simple cyst on ovary & a 0.9x0.3cm echogenic lobulated mass, likely representing endometrial polyp vs. intracavitary fibroid with trace free fluid. Is it possible the polyp is cancerous? My PCP ordered a stat referral gynecology?
