From last 3 period cycles experiencing blood clots on first 2-3 days of period. the cycle duration normal 25-27 days. today i got my first day of period am experiencing huge blood clots painful.i've ibs so underweight due to diet changes.why clots?

Blood clots indicate excessive blood loss. You need to take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia. Your doctor can prescribe medication that can limit your periods to once in three months to once a year. Your blood loss is not related to IBS. Wish you good health!
