A member asked:

Ive been having 2 period a month for the last two months. when the second period starts its very heavy bleeding and i produce blood clots larger than the size of a quarter. is this normal or does it contribute to an underlying condition?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably a gynecologist. Take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia from blood loss. Wish you good health!
