I have been taking aimovig for a few years. i was unable to fill it this past month and i am feeling withdraw symptoms. i was never told it was physically addictive and it shouldn't be considering the type of drug it is. whats happening to me?

Aimovig is a CGRP antagonist, and stopping it will result in breakthrough headaches, period. It is not addicting in the classical sense, but your long term use implies longterm success, and without it, after a month or so, you will note return of symptoms. Contact a neurologist and find a newer prophylactic approach.
