A disease of lies: Addicts lie, it's a fact. But this is not b/c they are bad people but b/c every positive motivation they have is hijacked by the need to use. Deciding to stop is good but not enough. The 3 things that move us are thoughts, feelings & biology. We think the mind is the captain but the emotions or the body can easily overrule a mental decision. When the 2 gang up vs. The mind it's like possession.
